Sketch Challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks

Good afternoon!  Sorry for the late post!  Today is Thursday so we have a new challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks!  This week our lovely Lori is our hostess and she has a SKETCH for us to use!
I kept my card pretty clean and simple with some pattern paper and a big flower.  The sentiment is from another set Lori sent me for Christmas!

And here is her sketch:

Things With Wings at 4 Crafty Chicks

Good morning!  Can you believe we are already in the middle of February?!?  Time seems to just fly by!  I have some exciting news to share!  My daughter just got her call from the Illinois Department of Corrections and she leaves for the police academy on March 9!  I am so happy for her yet so sad that she will be leaving the nest for good in just a few short weeks.

Today is Thursday so that means a new challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks.  Tamie is our hostess this week and she is asking to see "THINGS WITH WINGS".  So, anyone who knows me knows how much I love butterflies!  This was a pretty simple quick card for me.  I embossed my main card stock with my new hearts embossing folder from Close To My Heart and added some pattern paper just off center.  Some ribbon for trim and paper butterflies that I picked up at Michaels.  The stamp is from the Seaside collection from Close To My Heart and I cut it out using a Spellbinders die.

I ended up giving this card to my secretary for her birthday last week and she loved it!
So, why not join in the fun and enter your card today using "THINGS WITH WINGS" over at 4 Crafty Chicks?  While you are there be sure to leave a little love for the rest of the design team.  They have some pretty amazing talent to share with you all!

I am entering the following challenges:

See yo soon!

Happy Valentine's Day

Good morning Friends!  Welcome back again this week.
Today is Thursday so that means a new challenge over at 4 Crafty Chicks.
This week we are celebrating Valentines Day.

Here is a picture of one of my sweet little Valentines:

It's a little blurry because she likes to take "selfies" with Aunt T's phone!

Since she is just so sweet and cute and loves horses I made her a big Valentine Carousel:

I bought the SVG files to create this adorable Carousel from SVGCuts.com.  It is supposed to be a cupcake holder but did not want to put food on it.  This will look adorable in Little Miss's room full of Pink!

Here are a few close ups:

I think I will put a cute little outfit in the top for her to open since we won't be letting her play with her new horses.

And here is a picture of the Valentine box I helped my neighbor girl make:

So what kind of Valentines projects are you working on?  We would love for you to join us at 4 Crafty Chicks and show us your cards or projects today.

See you soon!

Hand Colored Image at 4 Crafty Chicks

Good morning friends!  Can you believe we are into February already!  WOW!  Time just seems to fly by!

Today is Thursday so we have a new challenge up at 4 Crafty Chicks.  This week Leanne is our Hostess and she is wanting to see your coloring.  So, our theme is A HAND COLORED IMAGE.

We also have a new Guest Designer this month!  A Big WELCOME to Danielle from D's Crafty Connection!  We are so excited to have you with us this month!

For my card I colored this cute stamp from My Favorite Things.  My fellow Chick, Lori, sent this to me for Christmas and this is the first chance I have had to use it.  I kept it pretty simple with just some Kraft card stock and some pattern paper from The Paper Studio. A bow and a little bling and this was finished.  I have a feeling you will be seeing more CAS cards from me this year!

So head over to 4 Crafty Chicks and enter your card using a HAND COLORED IMAGE today!  Oh, and while you are there be sure to leave a little love for the rest of the Chicks! They do some pretty amazing work!
