Anything Goes at 4 Crafty Chicks

Good morning friends!  I hope you are all having a wonderful Spring!  I have spent the last couple of weeks working in the yard and getting the flower beds ready for color!  Most of my perennials are coming up and soon will be in full bloom!

Today is Thursday so that means a brand new challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks!  This is our 5th Thursday this month so the theme is ANYTHING GOES!  I get to be hostess this week too!

Since I am in spring and flower mode I decided to share something a little different.  I made this topiary completely out of paper and am just in love with these things!  Everything was cut on the Cricut and the files came from SVGcuts.com.  I have 40 large and 48 small flowers on here!  the stem is a dowel rod covered with floral tape and on the inside of the base I added some glass rocks to hide the florist foam.

(for some reason it looks like it is leaning a little bit?)

So, with such an easy theme why not head on over to 4 Crafty Chicks and enter your ANYTHING GOES  project today!

See you soon!

Inspired by a Book at 4 Crafty Chicks

Good morning!
Today is Thursday so that means a new challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks.
This weeks theme is INSPIRED BY A BOOK.

Anyone what knows me knows I have ready this book series several times!  I just fell in love with the characters and can't seem to put them down any time I start reading one!

I don't think I need to tell you what book this is from, do I?

So, what is your favorite book?  Why not make a card or project and hop on over to 4 Crafty Chicks and share it with us today!

See you soon!

New Challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks

Good morning! I am so glad you stopped by today!
Tomorrow my daughter will graduate from the Police Academy!  I can hardly believe how fast the time has gone!

Today is Thursday so that means a new challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks!  This week Tamie is our lovely hostess and she picked the theme FAIRY.

Now, remember we are still in the process of building my dream craft room so my supplies are spread everywhere right now!  I had to dig through several boxes in order to find a Fairy!  This little one reminded me of Tinkerbell.  I thought instead of a card I would do a quick tag.

I cut the tag with my Cricut and colored and fussy cut the fairy out.  I added some flowers and ribbon and a quick sentiment and there you go!

So head on over to 4 Crafty Chicks and enter your FAIRY card today!  I can't wait to see what you create!

See you soon!

Die Cuts at 4 Crafty Chicks

Good morning!  Today is Thursday so that means a new challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks! I am hostess today and have decided to use the theme "DIE CUTS".  I actually picked this theme quite a while ago but it is really perfect for my project this week!

As you know, we are in the process of remodeling my daughters old room and turning it into my very own craft room!  I promise to have photos very soon!

Anyway, on to today's project!  I really wanted to do something different with the closet doors in the craft room so here is what I came up with:

(sorry for the terrible quality photo!)  I made this using my Cricut Explore and Vinyl.  I absolutely LOVE the way it turned out!  Now I know this is not a traditional die cut but I did use a die cutting machine to create this so, use your imagination and show us what you can create using die cuts too!  Head on over to 4 Crafty Chicks and enter your project today!

See you soon!

Easter at 4 Crafty Chicks

Good morning!  Can you believe it is Easter week already?
Life has been so busy around here getting my new craft room built!  I am so excited to show you when it is finished!

Today is Thursday so that means a new challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks.  Leanne is our hostess this week and she is using the theme Easter.

For my card I pulled one from last year to share.  This adorable little bunny is from The Paper Shelter.  I colored him with colored pencils and cut him out with a Spellbinder die.

So, head on over to 4 Crafty Chicks and enter your Easter card today!

See you soon!
