Cute Little Fireman

Good morning!  I hope you had a great weekend!  They always go too fast, but what can you do?

I have an exciting announcement:  There is a new blog in town and a new digi company just getting started!  I have been chosen to be on their very first design team!  Check out The Fairy Bridge.   We will begin our first challenge on the 21st so be watching and get ready to have some fun!

Before I head off to work this morning I have a new project for you.  Today's card was made using an adorable little fireman from The Paper Shelter.  I haven't shown one of their images for awhile so I thought this was a good Monday card!
I colored him up when I was snowed in during our big storm last week and put him together a few days later.  I used my Prisma pencils on him and cut him out using a Spellbinders die.  The challenge this week at the Paper Shelter asked us to use 3 designer papers so I added some layers from my stash and a ribbon and brads to finish him off.

Isn't he just the cutest thing?  I kept the inside of the card blank to add the perfect sentiment later.  I think he would make a great birthday card or just a card to say Hi.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope to see you again soon!
I am entering him into the following challenges:
See you soon!

Gosh darn, this is cute. This is a GREAT image and I love your color scheme of yellow and red..perfect for firemen. We have yellow and red fire trucks here in Phoenix, so this scheme is really perfect. I love how you didn't "doll" it up and kept the embellishments to a ribbon and those brads. You kept it "guy-ish" and that's not always easy to do! I wish you the best of luck in the drawing and I'm so glad you entered the challenge at TPS. I hope you'll consider joining more challenges with TPS images, too, so we can view more of your art work. Hugs, Gail
