It's Summertime!

Good morning! Thursday already?  Wow!

We have a new challenge over at 4 Crafty Chicks today! Lori is our hostess and she chose the theme SUMMER.

Now, I have so many really nice "summer" stamps, but then I thought  it was time to mix it up a bit and do something different!

For some reason these flowers just called to me!  I cut them out from my Cricut Explore.  The bright colors just make me think of hot summer days!  The wave of black made me think of water (I know I can be a little strange!)

The entire card is made from scraps from my stash and the candy dots are homemade from pony beads.  The sentiment is an old Stampin' Up stamp embossed with black embossing powder.  This is the first long card I have made in years!  I just may have to make a few more like this!

So head on over to 4 Crafty Chicks and join us for our SUMMER challenge!

Awesome, and you know I love flowers, and the black wave looks great in the back ground. Well done, bright and summer like. Cheers!

AWESOME card, Tina! I love the pop of color from the flowers - very pretty!! Love the black as the "water" makes the card have definite WOW factor! Great take on my challenge :)
