It's A Boy!

Good evening!  I hope everyone had a great Friday.  Tonight I took the kids shopping for school supplies.  Isaac leaves tomorrow to head back to college and Lacie leaves on Sunday.  It is going to be pretty quiet around here with both of them back at school!
I did manage to squeeze in a new card for the baby tonight...Now to decide which one to give him!  I made this card using a new digi I got today from Wee Stamps.  I colored him up with Prismacolor pencils and added some ribbon and a button.  I cut the letters with my Cricut using the Quarter Note cartridge and embellished with some pearls.

I am entering this card in Crafting From the Heart Anything Goes Challenge & DT Call

Welcome Greyson Joseph!

Good evening!  I am a Great Aunt (again)!  My nephew had a baby boy yesterday.  He is so cute and I can not wait to meet him!
Of course I couldn't go see him without a card and gift, so tonight I put together a quick, simple card for him.  This adorable image is called Noah's Ark by Whimsy Stamps.  I colored it up with Prismacolor Pencils.  The paper is from a new pack called Authentique Essentials Collection and the cardstock is from The Paper Studio.  I used Zing embossing powder on the sentiment which is from Stampin Up. Misc. brads and ribbon finished the card.  It didn't turn out anything like I had in mind but I guess it's ok.

I am entering this is the following challenges:

The darling image is from The Paper Shelter.. I colored them with pencils and added some glitter to her gown and veil. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the rest came from my stash.

I hope you have a wonderful evening and an even better Friday!  Thanks for stopping by!   Tina

Good Morning!

Good morning. I hope you are all nice and warm on this beautiful Wednedsay. Today I have been married for 20 years!  As I sit here drinking my coffee I am thinking about how far we have come in our lives. We have had our share of ups and downs but I wouldn't change anything.
Today I am going to share a wood project I did from my fall craft shows. This sign was made using a 1x4 Pine board, painted then sanded on the edges.  The lettering is cut using vinyl and my Cricut.

Winter Fun

Good evening!  I hope you were all able to stay nice and warm today. We finally reached temps above 0 today but it was still too cold for me!
Today I thought I would color up one more image from The Paper Shelter. This little beauty looks like she is ready for the Winter Olympics!  I colored her with my new Prismacolor pencils and added a little glitter to her. The paper is K & Co and the snowflakes are from The Paper Studio. Ribbon and swirl are from my stash.
I hope you have a wonderful night. Tina

A Little Bit of Love

Good afternoon!  I hope you are all staying warm. Due to the dangerous wind chills and the blowing and drifting snow I had a snow day today!  We don't see a lot of those in the insurance world so I took complete advantage of it. I did a little cleaning, made homemade chicken and noodles, and of course, spent a little time in my craft room!
Today I made a Valentine card using another great image from The Paper Shelter. These little cuties are called Kissing Booth. I colored them with pencils and used scrap paper and ribbon. The flowers are from Wild Otchid Crafts.
I hope you all have a wonderful day and get to do at least one thing crafty.   Tina.

Just finished another great image from The Paper Shelter!  She is just relaxing with a bubble bath.
I colored her with pencils and added some glitter to her wings. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon and paper are from my stash.

Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

Good evening!  I hope everyone is staying warm and cozy tonight. We just got home from watching our son bowl and let me tell you the roads are getting pretty bad!  I am not sure how much snow we are expecting but it will be too much for me!
I thought I would share one of my Christmas projects with you tonight. This cute snowman was super easy to make and since everything came from Dollar Tree was super inexpensive!  The top hat is made from a small plastic treat bucket and a cool whip lid. I apologize for the picture quality on this one. He has already been put away until next year.
Have a wonderful night!   Tina

Ready For Spring!!

I don't know about you but I am ready for spring!  Last night we got about 3 inches of snow and by Monday we are going to have below zero temps!  So I thought we could use a little Spring.  Isn't she just darling?  This is another great image from The Paper Shelter. I colored her with pencils and then used Spellbinders labels 22 to cut her out. The papers are just scraps and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. Pearls and ribbon completed the final touches. Stay warm and think Spring!

A look at 2013

Good Morning!  As we begin another new year I am sitting here reflecting on all that life had to offer in 2013.  We have made a lot of changes in the past year.  We sent out baby off to college, bought a house and began remodeling it, and celebrated my in laws 50th Wedding Anniversary.  This card was made using my Cricut for all the cut images.  Happy New Year! I hope the new year is filled with lots of love, family, good friends and crafting!
