Good morning and welcome back again this week!  Before I get started with this weeks post - I just want to take a minute to thank our lovely guest designer this month over at 4 Crafty Chicks.  Nance - we loved having you!

OK, so this is the 5th Thursday of March.  That means that our theme over at 4 Crafty Chicks is

ANYTHING GOES

This week I have a special birthday treat to share with you.  My darling niece turned 3 on Easter!  I have had so much fun getting this all ready for her birthday!  She asked me for a puppy and this is what I came up with. (I warn you this is very picture heavy!)

I found a pattern at Hancock Fabrics in January and got busy.  Every time she sees me she asks if her puppy is done!  

This puppy has everything!  A bed, a blanket, a bottle, a bone, a diaper (Not pictured) and even a bag for her to carry everything in!

I embroidered on the blanket the word "Princess".  It turned out so cute I had to make her a t shirt to match!

She is maybe a tiny bit spoiled by her Aunt T...  Now, wait - I'm not quite finished.  LOL.  Every birthday girl needs a special dress to wear for her party! And a cake to match the dress!

As you can see by the look on her face - she is one very happy little girl!

Happy Birthday Baby Girl - Aunt T loves you to the moon and back!

Easter Greetings

Good morning!  Wow! March already!  I think this year is going to go as fast as the last one!

Today we have a new challenge over at 4 Crafty  Chicks and Leanne is our wonderfully talented hostess.  We also have a new guest designer -          - I am so excited to work with you this month!

When I began working on this  (Valentine's Day) my husband had thought I lost my mind!  I tried to explain to him that  yes, I knew it was Valentine's day and yes, I knew I was making an Easter card.  I told him you have to get ahead of these things or they just hop right up and there you are - no cards for your family!

So, here is my Easter card:

I actually made several that day - but this one was my favorite (probably all of the flowers)

Friendship

Good morning!  Can you believe we are over halfway through February already!!!  I think the older I get the faster time seems to go!

Love is in the Air

Good morning!  Can you believe it is February already!!!  I don't know about where you are but we are having some beautiful weather!  Last weekend I was able to work in the yard - without a coat!!  The end of January in Illinois was one of the best I can  remember!

Well, a new month and a new challenge, and a new Guest Designer over at 4 Crafty Chicks!

While on a recent trip to St. Louis I came across this adorable hedgehog stamp and immediately thought of my daughter (she really wants a live hedgehog).  I knew this was the stamp for her Valentine card!

The picture just doesn't do this one justice.  It is much prettier in real life!

Anything But A Card at 4 Crafty Chicks

Good morning!  This week at 4 Crafty Chicks we are doing something different!  Lori is our hostess and she wants to see another side to our craftiness!

For my project this week I had just finished this wreath for my office door:

Now, after making the wreath I decided that I needed to take my snowman tree and turn it into a Valentine tree:

The picture isn't very good - but I fell in love with this as soon as it was finished!  I am going to try to keep this up each month and change it for the different seasons and holidays.  (We will see if I can manage that!)
