Show a Little Love

Good morning!  It's Saturday morning and I am sitting here drinking coffee and looking through all the wonderful blogs out there in blog land.
Today I have another cute image from Bugaboo Stamps featuring Ava and Deacon.  They are just the most adorable characters. I colored them with my Prisma pencils and added some Glossy Accents to the hearts.  I kept this one clean and simple once again (Now that I have the hang of CAS I am really liking it!) Plus they are easier to mail!

I hope you have a great Saturday! Thanks for stopping by. Be sure to check out some of the other great blogs out there! The inspiration and talent I see is just amazing!

TGIF!

Happy Friday! I don't know about you - but I am ready for the weekend!  This will be a long quiet weekend since both of the kids are staying at school.  Maybe I can talk my hubby into taking me someplace nice for dinner?
In honor of the weekend I have a new image from Bugaboo Stamps.

I colored her up using Prisma color pencils and triple matted her with black, white and pink card stock.  I kept this one simple with just a touch of polka dot paper and a few jewels.

New Challenge at 4 Crafty Chick!

Hello again! It's time for a new challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks.  This weeks theme is to use Flags and/or Banners.
For my DT card I chose an acrylic stamp from Inkadinkado called Angels.  I stamped her with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored her with Prismacolor pencils, embossed the dove with Zing powder and added some glitter to her wings.  I cut my banner with the Cricut and added some lace, pearls and a glittery bow.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Be sure to stop by and join us at 4 Crafty Chicks this week! Stop by the design teams blogs too, they are truly remarkable!

Lacie's Ice Cream

Good morning! I hope you are having a great morning wherever you are.  We are in the middle of yet another snow storm.  I haven't heard for sure, but we were expecting 8+ inches of snow between yesterday and this morning.  We had at least 4 when I went to bed last night.  Have I mentioned lately how ready I am for Spring?
Since there wasn't much else to do last night, I decided to browse through Mo's Digital Pencil for a couple new digis.  You will never believe what I found!  There is this stamp at JoAnn Fabric's that I have been wanting for quite some time called Lacie ice cream. (I mainly wanted it because it is my daughter's name and even spelled the same way!) Well, was I excited to see it on Mo's site!  Of course I bought it right away, printed it out and colored her up!  Made my day!!!!! Here is my first use of this adorable little Lacie:

I colored her using Prisma color pencils then cut her out using a Spellbinders die.  I added lots of goodies to this card: Swirl & bling from The Paper Studio, Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, and ribbon from my stash. I used an EK Success punch at the bottom and a Recollections border punch on the edge.  The paper is all from my stash (I think it is from The Paper Studio)  The bow was made using both pink and orange ribbon using the mini-bowdabra.

Isn't she just adorable? Makes me want Summer that much more - oh and some Chocolate Ice cream!
I did buy a couple of other images from Mo's (who could resist! They are all so cute!) but you will have to wait for another day to see them.
Sorry for such a long post today - it must be the weather! LOL!

Happy Tuesday!  I hope you are warm and safe wherever you are.  Winter seems to be hanging on here but I know it won't last forever!
Today is my Father-In-Law's 71st Birthday. Here is the card I made for him.  I used another great image from Bugaboo Digi Stamps.  I colored it up with my Primsa Color Pencils and kept it clean and simple.

Short post today as I am off to work!

Happy "29th" Birthday!

Good morning! We have another cold, snowy day here.  Spring can come any time already!  Friday night we had about 8 inches of snow and then freezing rain on top of that!  We have more snow coming in tomorrow.  I am not sure what we have done to make Mother Nature so mad, but would someone kindly apologize?!?
Last night we went to a birthday party for our friend and neighbor.  He just turned 29 once again..(for about the 18th time!)  I wanted a clean and simple card for him with a funny twist.  What  better than to use an image from Bugaboo Digi Stamps!  I just loved this cute image!

I colored this up with my Prisma Color Pencils and then added some dimension with pop dots. I matted everything with card stock and added a strip of ribbon.

I am going to enter this into the following challenges:
Come and Get It Challenges - Clean and Simple
The Doodle Pantry - Anything Goes

While the guys watched the fights last night - the girls had a little crafty fun.  These 2 lovely young ladies made cards for their Dad and a few Valentine cards for family.  This was their first time making cards and I think they had a blast!

Just look at those beautiful works of art!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope to see you again soon!

Happy 70th Anniversary

Good morning! I hope you are able to have a fantastic weekend and are able to do at least one thing crafty!  I am spending the weekend with my wonderful children.  It's so nice to have them both home!  We will probably have to do a little shopping today and I have a baby shower this afternoon.  But before I get on with my day I wanted to share with you a card I made for a special couple that are celebrating their 70th Wedding Anniversary.  Wow! Isn't that amazing!  I started out planning on doing a clean and simple card, but I guess I just can't get the hang of clean and simple!  I used all die cuts for this one, cutting everything with my Cricut.  The paper is all from Recollections and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. (If you have never ordered from them, I would say to give them a try.  I dearly love all the flowers I have ordered from them!)

I decided to make a cake server to go with the card.  I cut the letters and hearts with my Cricut using vinyl and added a bow.  Now, to just add a cake and it will be ready to be delivered.

It's A Girl!

Good morning! It's finally Friday!  Both of my children are coming home for the weekend and our annual Super Bowl Party on Sunday. Has it really only been 2 weeks since Isaac was home?  Now, let's hope the weather cooperates so they both can get home!  We have a baby shower on Saturday for one of the girls Lacie played softball with ( are these girls really old enough to have babies already?)  Wow, I must be getting old!
Well, on with the card!  I have to say that this one has to be at the top of my favorites ever done. (sorry for all the pictures on this one - I  couldn't resist!)
This is an image from Wee Stamps.  I colored her with Prisma color pencils and added a touch of glitter here and there.  All the paper is from The Paper Studio and the gems, butterfly and ribbon are from my stash.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I inked the edges of all the paper with Burgundy distress ink and used a Martha Stuart border punch.

Isn't she just adorable?  I don't normally show the inside of my cards, but thought this one deserved the entire package.  Again, sorry for all the photos.

Anything Goes at 4 Crafty Chicks

Hi again!  Another week has just flew by!  Before I know it Spring will be here and along with that Lacie's college graduation.  Has it really been 4 years already?  She will soon no longer be a student and will have to enter the working world.
This week over at 4 Crafty Chicks the challenge is Anything Goes. I chose an image that reminded me so much of Lacie.
From the sloppy bun down to the leggings.  She is called Danielle with Laptop and you can get her from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I colored her with my Prismacolor Pencils.  The paper is from The Paper Studio and the flowers and twine are from my stash.

So hop on over to 4 Crafty Chicks and enter your project today!  We would love for you to play along.
